Local suppliers are at the heart of our food offering. We are proud to serve dishes using David Ward Organic Vegetables, Knockdrinna Cheese, Tess’s Bakery Bread and Cramers Grove Ice Cream. Good local suppliers have been central to the good reputation The Blackberry Cafe has gained since opening in December 2007.

My aim is to develop a reinvigorated local food culture and to become a destination for local, national and international visitors. The Blackberry Café is also a member of the Kilkenny Food Trail.

Summer Special Offer & Summer Opening Hours

In association with Fáilte Ireland and Good Food Ireland, this summer we’re offering a special family picnic pack at The Blackberry Café. The picnic pack contains two adult and two children sandwiches, a 750ml bottle of locally produced apple juice, two chocolate florentines or two apples. Picnic packs must be booked before 10.30am on the day of collection. Call in today or contact us in advance for more information. Opening Sundays from June 12th to August 28th.
